Wow! Awesome score. Must be a year for Redline bikes as I just recently scored a '85 RL-20II from an old friend that I had been hounding for about 15 years. Tried uploading a pic but getting error.

H O L Y C R A P !!

Is that an '85? Is that the one found in Maryland bike shop around 2005?
BOB-O
Sweet Bike... Did you build it?

C3nthusiast found an NOS F&F in Maryland around 2004/5-ish. It was in really nice shape.

Either way, that frame is amazing.

I remember Roger's bike. I saw it in person before he sold everything. smokin endo got his around the same time.

Bob, I did not build it. I'm just planning to display this one. I still have my black RL-20II that I bought new as a frameset back in 87.

Thats awesome you still have yours from 87. cool.gif
I wish I would have never sold my '88 Mango in '91.

On a side note speaking of RL20II's.....
There was a member here way back, I think it was Subwax, who was trying to collect enough parts to recreate the Redline ad that had all of the colors of 20II framesets/kits lined up.

Does anyone know if he was ever able to complete them?

Yeah that was subwax. No idea if he did or not. He kinda fell off the face... maybe too many cigarettes.
He was from the UK and went to Rockford one year... some hilarious talk about him "smoking fags". (fag = British term for cigarette)

Subwax is who bought my ‘85 RL 20II.
